Energy consultancy and European Conference EEEI project

During the second half of 2008 and first quarter of 2009 the E-BAG benchmark tool will be used for energy consultancy of 100 graphic media SME's in 5 member states. SME's can log into the system in order to put in their generic energy data and will get a generic energy benchmark report. In this report their energy situation and possible energy efficiency are described and compared in a benchmark to colleague companies in the sector in five member states. For a specific benchmark graphic media SME's can ask for an energy consultant from their country by e-mail. The consultant will fill in the specific data, produce a specific benchmark report and present energy measures, being part of the measure list and applicable to the company. In the coming months a national workshop will be organized in all five countries to promote the E-BAG benchmark to interested SME's. The EEEI project will be concluded by a European Conference on Friday 27 March 2009 at the University of Wuppertal (Germany), where the project results will be presented to interested European and national institutions, sector organizations, SME's and other European projects.
